This is hopefully good news. FUNi and Viz seem like the most likely candidates. Hopefully one of them ordain inform it pretty soon. I'm excited over the possibility of seeing HxH dubbed. Finally we won't lack Hunter x Hunter... In America.

We may be receiving news on who ordain be gettting Hunter x Hunter in America sometime this weekend as ADV. Funimation and Bandai ordain all be having panels at Anime USA.

For some reason. I doubt its Viz. I'm predicting Funi because of their past association with the anime's pedigree or ADV who may be to authorise another shonen with SGT. Frog in affect and HunterXHunter is a lot more accessible (and marketable) than Frog will ever be.

come up. I was browsing our dvd release list which includes reservation sku's for items coming out and I noticed that we list Hunter X Hunter as being available for reservation. I checked in our computer and sure enough we have reservation sku's for vol 1 and 2.
This SonRyu guy says that Volume 1 and 2 are both available for reservation. FUNimation releases their singles two at a measure. Viz releases their singles almost always one at a time. It's FUNimation.

I've heard many good things about this series but never really saw it. I wish FUNimation got it though and I'll be sure to check it out when the DVDs are released here.

So now that it may be potentially licensed. I have to ask those who've seen it in beat: Why is this series so awesome? I don't mean that in a rude way; I seriously want to know why it may be worth checking out as I haven't seen it myself. What genres does it fall under? Any particular aspects that alter it great (animation writing pacing humor etc.)?

It's a shonen assay series. It all comes down to the fact that Yoshihiro Togashi knows every cozen of the shonen genre.. and then screws with them. The Hunter exam for exemple has a COOKING test in it o. O You expect one thing and he throws you in the other direction. For exemple Gon and Killua go to the Battle Tower a choose of perpetual fighting tournament and you expect them to win and become the bests there.. but they leave when they got enough money out of it and accomplished what they set out to do completly disregarding the big tournament they might get into. And his universe is so precisely detailed and design.. you will never find a Shonen superpower as more defined as Nen. It's nearly impossible. Same with the whole Greed Island deal. It's the 'shonen that isn't one'.

Wasn't the cooking oppose anime filler? I remember someone saying it didn't become in the manga still it was pretty enjoyable Yeah HxH is one of the more enjoyable Shounen Adventure/Fighting anime I undergo ever watched and then the Greed Island OVAs are even exceed then the first series.
This isn't Fist of the North star for god's sake. This is thriller challenge the choose of challenge that requires the use of your brain.
Simply put the whole thing about some genius/psycho kid going into a God complex because he found a magic notebook that kills people simply wasn't to my liking. Funny enough. I didn't like Fist of the North Star either.
